PREVIEW OF eTHICAL
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
Leaders that are ethical are much more concerned with what is right than the consequences of doing what is right. They are sensitive to each situation they are in, and what may or may not be perceived by others as being unethical. They know where the line of unethical behavior has been drawn, and stay as far away from it as possible. They don’t see things as black and white. They perceive the grey areas and stay away from them. They know that perception is reality, and the most innocent actions could lead to trouble down the road. They avoid even the hint of what could be considered an unethical practice or decision. Leaders that are ethical know that the risk of what could be lost due to unethical behavior in the long term will always be greater than the short term benefits or perks to be gained...
